The road to the Isle of Skye takes you through some stunning scenery, not least of which is Glencoe with beautiful mountains, lakes and rivers and constantly changing weather. Of the inner Hebridean islands, the Isle of Skye is perhaps the most famous and justifiably so, with amazing scenery around every bend, made more so by the moody weather found in the winter months.
