El Chaltén is a village within Los Glaciares National Park in Argentina and is the gateway to trails surrounding the peaks of Cerro Torre and Mount Fitz Roy to the northwest. Beautiful viewpoints, forests, rivers and lakes are within easy reach and the constantly changing weather adds to the drama.
