A vitally important area for agriculture and trade, the nine rivers that cover this area like fingers are fed by the Mekong River which is the main artery from Cambodia and fans out into the delta region. Trade revolves around the rivers with myriad barges transporting goods, fishing boats, and ferries. A cruise around this region offers an interesting insight into this way of life, and indeed the pollution that goes with it.
