Lyveden New Bield is a National Trust property in Northamptonshire near Aldwincle. A fascinating unfinished Elizabethan house surrounded by wildlife meadow and lots of lovely walks along streams and ponds. A Grade I listed building, classing it as a 'building of exceptional interest dating back to 1605 when its builder, Sir Thomas Tresham, died.
