Probably best known for the wrong reasons, Cambodia was shaped by the Khmer people, who were great builders and whose legacy remains today in the form of the great temples including Angkor Wat. The country borders Vietnam and the Mekong delta to the East, The Gulf of Thailand to the South West, Thailand to the NorthWest and Laos to the North.
