This winter trip took in Central Japan including Tokyo, Mount Fuji area, the ancient City of Takayama and the famous Jigokudani Snow Monkeys. The Northern Island of Hokkaido is home to the Sapporo Ice Festival and the beautiful Biei area in the centre of the island. The Otaru Snowpath Festival and nearby Ebisu Iwa are also well worth a visit.
